1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Frosting:
1/4 cup chocolate chips
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
Preheat & Prep: Warm your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cookie Mixture: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in cocoa, sugar, and milk; bring to a simmer, then remove from heat and mix in vanilla. Let cool slightly.
