Ingredients:
1 lb. Ground Beef
½ Onion, diced
1 cup Tomato Sauce
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tablespoons Ketchup
2 teaspoons Mustard
2 teaspoons Garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 teaspoon Salt
1 can red kidney beans, drained
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 bag tater tots, frozen
Directions:
In a skillet, brown the beef with onions, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Stir in the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mustard. Mix well before adding the kidney beans.
Spray the inside of the slow cooker bowl with non-stick spray or line it with parchment paper.
Place a layer of tater tots at the bottom of the bowl.
Layer the beef mixture over the tater tots.
Add another layer of tater tots on top of the beef mixture.
Cover the bowl with a tea towel (under the lid) to absorb moisture.
Cook on low for 4 hours.
In the last 30 minutes, remove the lid and sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top. Replace the lid and continue cooking until the cheese is melted and gooey.
Serving Suggestion:
Garnish with a dollop of sour cream or ketchup for added flavor.
