1 batch of brownies, baked and cooled
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1 cup chocolate pudding
Instructions:
Prepare Brownies: Start by baking your favorite brownie recipe and allowing it to cool completely. Cut the brownies into small squares.
Slice Strawberries: While the brownies are cooling, hull and slice the fresh strawberries.
Whip the Cream: In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer until it starts to thicken. Add powdered sugar and continue to whip until stiff peaks form.
Make Cream Cheese Layer: In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add half of the whipped cream to the cream cheese, mixing gently until combined.
Assemble Trifle: In a large trifle dish or individual serving glasses, layer the ingredients starting with brownie squares at the bottom, followed by a layer of chocolate pudding, a layer of sliced strawberries, a drizzle of chocolate syrup, and a layer of the cream cheese mixture. Repeat the layers until the dish is full, finishing with a layer of whipped cream on top.
Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld. Garnish with additional strawberries and a drizzle of chocolate syrup before serving.
