Plus, it’s a breeze to whip up, thanks to simple ingredients and straightforward instructions. Let’s dive into how to create this tropical masterpiece!

Ingredients :

For the cake:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • ½ cup salted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup pineapple juice
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup crushed or chunked pineapple

For the Glaze:

  • ¾ cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup butter, room temperature

Directions:

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 10-12 cup bundt pan with butter or baking cooking spray to ensure your cake slides out effortlessly once baked.
  2. Mix and Blend: In a large bowl, combine the pineapple juice, melted butter, and cake mix until smooth. Incorporate the eggs and crushed or chunked pineapple into the mixture, and mix on high speed for 2 minutes until well combined. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt cake pan, spreading it evenly.
  3. Bake to Perfection: Place your pineapple cake in the preheated oven and let it bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Once baked to golden perfection, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
  4. Prepare the Glaze: While your cake cools, it’s time to whip up the delectable glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the pineapple juice, powdered sugar, and room temperature butter. Cook over medium heat until the butter has melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat.
  5. Glaze and Serve: Using a straw or skewer, poke holes throughout the bottom of the cake. Pour one-third of the glaze over the bottom of the cake and let it soak for 10-15 minutes. Carefully flip the cake over onto a serving platter. To the remaining glaze, add 1.5 cups powdered sugar to thicken it slightly, then spoon it over the top of the cake.
