Today I have added beautiful Light Cranberry Classic Juice and Dried Cranberries 50% less sugar
to create this breakfast.
What makes it super special is that they are 100% unsweetened and are free from artificial flavours, colours and preservatives.
Cranberries are filled with antioxidants:
-A diet high in antioxidants may help reduce the risk of many diseases
-Antioxidants scavenge free radicals from the body cells and prevent or reduce
the damage caused by oxidation
-flavonoids (a type of photochemical) found in things such as cranberries are
believed to have greater antioxidant effects
Ingredients:
250g strawberries
1 green apple
1/2 cup frozen cranberries
1/2 cup Craisins dried Cranberries 50% less sugar
1 tablespoon potato flour
2 cups Pure 100% Unsweetened Cranberry Juice.
1 cup almond meal
1 cup oats
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1/3 cup flour
50g butter
Method:
Pre heat the oven at 160C
Add to a pot and simmer on a low heat for 5 minutes: 250g strawberries, 1 green apple (sliced),1/2 cup frozen cranberries, 1/2 cup Ocean Spray dried cranberries, 1 tablespoon potato flour, 2 cups Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice.
Transfer the cooked fruits to baking dish
Prepare the crumble by combing: 1 cup almond meal, 1 cup oats, 1/4 cup coconut sugar, 1/3 cup flour and 50g butter.
Place the crumble mixture on top of fruit.
Bake the crumble at 180 C for 25-30 minutes
Serves 4-5
Enjoy with scoop of coconut yoghurt
