One of my favourite childhood Easter cakes -Chocolate Marble Cake.

With the addition of wonderful organic @powersuperfoods products it came out super delicious! I am totally in love with organic Cacao powder from @powersuperfoods and I have been using it for years. In our house we use the cacao powder daily to make hot chocolate, add it to oats in the morning as well as for baking and smoothies.
It is my favourite cacao powder on the market as the quality is just amazing 🤩

With a complex flavour profile of spice, fruit and citrus notes, @powersuperfoods organic cacao powder is the result of separating cacao butter from nibs. Maintaining low temperatures throughout this process ensures precious vitamins, minerals and antioxidants are preserved.

To make this delicious cake you will need following Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups self raising flour
1 cup @powersuperfoods Coconut Sugar
6 eggs
25g butter
1/2 cup potato starch
1 tablespoon pure vanilla essence
3 tablespoons @powersuperfoods Cacao Gold Powder

Method

Melt the butter and let it cool down
Combine flour with potato starch
Grind the Coconut Sugar until a fine powder to assist with the cake’s texture
Beat the egg whites with Coconut Sugar until stiff and glossy
Add remaining egg yolks and mix
Add vanilla essence
Gradually whisk in flour with potato starch
Add cooled butter and mix in
Pour half of the batter into baking form and mix 2 tbsp of Cacao Gold Powder with remaining cake batter
Pour cacao batter on top of the vanilla cake batter
Bake at 160C for 45 min or until golden or a skewer comes out clean

Cacao Sauce for the top

3 tablespoons of milk
3 tablespoons of @powersuperfoods coconut sugar
3 tablespoons @powersuperfoods cacao powder
50g butter

Melt above ingredients together on a low heat
Continually stir until chocolate becomes a thick pouring consistency
