Ingredients:
1 box of chocolate cake mix (and required ingredients listed on the box)
30 Oreos, crushed
12.8 oz hot fudge
Two 3.4 oz packages of chocolate instant pudding mix
3 1/2 cups milk
8 oz Cool Whip, thawed
Directions:
Prepare the Cake:
Bake the chocolate cake as directed on the box in a 9×13 inch pan.
After baking, while still warm, poke holes across the cake.
Heat the hot fudge until pourable, then evenly distribute over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes. Allow the cake to fully cool.
Pudding Layer:
Mix one package of chocolate pudding with 1 3/4 cups of milk.
Pour the slightly set pudding over the cooled cake.
Chill in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to let it set.
Topping:
Mix the second package of pudding with 1 3/4 cups of milk and let it set in the fridge for about 10 minutes.
Fold in the thawed Cool Whip into the set pudding.
Mix in about three-quarters of the crushed Oreos and spread over the set pudding layer.
Sprinkle the remaining Oreos on top.
Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the cake until ready to serve, allowing all the flavors to meld together beautifully.
