Peanut Butter Blossom Bars 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
2/3 cup milk chocolate chips
24 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped
3 tsp white sparkling sugar or granulated sugar

Directions:

Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Make Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, both sugars, peanut butter, and egg. Beat until well mixed. Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to form a stiff dough. Mix in chocolate chips.
Bake: Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons of sugar. Bake for 22-24 minutes until puffed and golden.
Add Kisses: Remove from oven and immediately press Hershey’s Kisses into the dough in rows. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar.
Cool and Serve: Let the bars cool completely in the pan. Cut into squares, ensuring each has a Kiss in the center.
