Sausage Biscuit and Gravy Casserole

 🥘 – Dive into this comforting and hearty breakfast casserole, combining savory sausage, creamy gravy, and fluffy biscuits!

Ingredients:

1 pound Breakfast sausage
2 Tablespoons Butter
¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Black Pepper
3 cups Milk
16.3 oz Refrigerator Biscuits

Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and spray a 9×13-inch casserole dish with non-stick spray.
2️⃣ In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked. Transfer the cooked sausage to the prepared casserole dish.
3️⃣ In the same skillet, add the butter to the sausage drippings. Once the butter has melted, stir in the flour, salt, and pepper. Cook until the mixture thickens and starts to brown.
4️⃣ Gradually pour in the milk, stirring frequently. Continue to cook until the milk simmers and the gravy thickens.
5️⃣ Pour the thickened gravy over the sausage in the casserole dish.
6️⃣ Cut the refrigerator biscuits into quarters and arrange them on top of the sausage and gravy mixture.
7️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
